Drafted out of the unknown Kutztown College, Reed went on to play 15 seasons in the NFL. Reed was instrumental in the Bills run to four straight Super Bowl appearances from 1991-1994. One of the best moments Reed had as a Buffalo Bill was in the January 3rd, 1993 playoff game that came to be known as The Comeback against the Houston Oilers. In this game Houston had a 35-3 lead during the third quarter and Reed caught three touchdowns in the second half to lead the Bills to the largest comeback in NFL history. Reed finished the game with eight receptions for 136 yards and three touchdowns; this game was enshrined in NFL history as one of the greatest games to ever to be played.
